Face serums are formulated to provide nourishment and hydration to the skin.
After cleansing, the ideal face serum will deliver beneficial ingredients to protect the
skin and keep it from drying out.
Our face serum is light, absorbs quickly, and calms dry and sensitive skin.
Let's take a peek at the ingredients.
Avocado Oil
This oil is primarily recognized as a cooking oil, yet it has also been an essential component in numerous skincare products.
Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, it also includes vitamins A, D, E, and beta carotene. These nutrients help protect the skin from UV radiation, while moisturizing and soothing dry skin.
Some research has shown that it also supports collagen production.
Argan Oil
Argan oil, often referred to as an anti-aging oil, is thought to significantly increase skin firmness and elasticity.
It protects the skin from uv radiation and also helps to improve water retention in the skin.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil, extracted from the nut of the jojoba plant, draws water to the skin's surface, making it an excellent moisturizer.
It helps to fight oxidative stress from pollutants and toxins in the environment.
Jojoba oil's chemical composition closely resembles the natural oils produced by our body.
Therefore, it will not clog pores and will help to relieve dryness, flaking, and itching.
In addition to the natural oils we use in our face serums, essential oils are an integral part of what makes the serum an effective moisturizer
Frankincense
Frankincense has been used for thousands of years and recent research shows it is effective as a topical anti-aging treatment.
Lavender
This highly popular essential oil has been used to reduce fine lines and provide protection from environmental pollutants.
It naturally reduces inflammation and is safe fo use on face, hands and legs.
Our face serum includes natural oils along with a mix of essential oils, transforming it into a therapeutic solution that nourishes the skin, beyond just moisturizing.
In the next issue, I will discuss our whipped vegan body butter for dry skin.
